An absolute delight to share that we’re partnering up with Plasm to bring Witness as an off-chain governance solution to their network. A DApps hub that supports Ethereum and Layer 2 solutions like ZK-Rollups, Plasm is the multi-chain and multi-virtual machine smart contract platform on Polkadot.
“We quickly understood the ideological relevance of Witness in relation to our mission of building out the infrastructure for Web3. With its privacy-first mandate, this partnership will add to our ecosystem meaningfully.
Sota Watanabe, Founder of Plasm
Excited to announce we’re embarking on a partnership with Clover Finance to support Witness, the privacy-first off-chain governance solution part of Automata’s technology suite. Built on Polkadot, Clover Finance is a powerful smart contract platform that enables Ethereum developers and projects to migrate their contracts onto the blockchain. By minimising the changes required to run existing Solidity smart contracts on the new network, Ethereum projects can simply replicate their dApp and deploy it to Clover using MetaMask, Truffle, Remix, and other familiar tools.
“Amidst heightened expectations around privacy, Witness is on the next wave of innovation that allows those working…
It’s a delight to announce our partnership with Crust Network, a decentralised storage network for Web3. The collaboration will support and introduce Witness to the network, particularly as the latter builds out a decentralised cloud ecosystem that values data privacy and ownership.
“With its singular focus on privacy, Witness will bolster our efforts of remaining committed to users’ autonomy and control as the confluence of blockchain and data ecosystems continue to grow.

It’s a pleasure to share that we’ll be partnering with Bounce.finance to integrate Witness. If you are new to them, Bounce Finance is a decentralised auction protocol that provides a competitive swap environment, unlocking the potential of open finance. The project has also launched a NFT marketplace for users to create and list unique NFTS, participate in auctions and commission custom-made art, audio and video.
Community voting is such a crucial element of sound governance. As our community continues to grow from strength to strength, Witness will allow the process of decision-making to become truly private and democratic.
In our continuing efforts to build a more robust and accessible solution stack, we are thrilled to share that Witness is now available for use on Ethereum Mainnet, Ethereum Kovan Testnet, Binance Smart Chain Mainnet and Binance Smart Chain Testnet. We see this integration with Ethereum and BSC as the first step to truly empower an increasingly animated blockchain ecosystem, while also preparing for other additions across our protocol.
Today’s an exciting one for Automata: Witness is now live on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain! …
Miner Extractable Value (MEV) is a universal problem. On public blockchains, transactions are broadcast to mempools until miners pick them up for inclusion. This means everyone has visibility of pending transactions and can outbid using priority gas auctions over every last bit of profit e.g. front-running opportunities.
But still, mempools are only part of a wider issue. Block producers (miners in PoW systems, validators in PoS systems) also have the ability to rewrite transaction order. This problem is further exacerbated on blockchains (such as Ethereum) where block reordering is possible. …
Thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with MathWallet Official to bring Witness into their wallet ecosystem, reaching out to more than 1 million users globally. As an introduction, MathWallet currently supports more than 60 chains, hundreds of tokens and dApps through its integrated suite of mobile, web, and hardware wallets.
The partnership with Automata Network will empower MathWallet to provide privacy-protection operations to our wallet users, which is an important feature for the next-generation crypto wallet.

Witness is our anonymous voting solution to deliver and build truly decentralised and private applications. If the foundation…
Happy to share that we’re embarking on a partnership with Celer Network, a leading layer-2 scaling platform that enables fast, easy and secure off-chain transactions for not only payment transactions, but also generalised off-chain smart contracts, having recently launched layer2.finance.
We see Witness as a unique solution to some of the most challenging issues faced by decentralised project governance including privacy and integrity, while keeping a simple-to-use interface for community members. We are excited to explore the opportunity to work with the Automata team to enable better decentralised governance for applications built on top of Celer.

Our academic interest on privacy, especially as a pillar of the decentralised web, dates back to 2016 with the presentation of OblivP2P at USENIX Security Symposium. Three years later, we would built upon those findings — a privacy-preserving solution on hiding data access patterns for peer-to-peer storage — and thus was Advanca born. This was soon rebranded to Automata to better reflect and align with our mission of making Web 3.0 a reality.

The global Internet market may have reached tens of trillions USD, but it certainly took its time. DeFi (abbreviated for Decentralized Finance, a lego-like system of lending, payments and trading protocols built on blockchain), emerged as one of the fastest-growing sectors of the blockchain industry, recording over $43 billion in TVL just this month, and astoundingly so in less than a year.
At this juncture, persistent issues seem to suggest a reality check is due:
Empowers today’s dApps with seamless privacy and high assurance.
